Do you remember that Festa dinner?
Yes, that one where we all thought it was just the usual Festa dinner, where we’d watch them being themselves, sharing stories and laughter with us.
That one where we found out that Jimin asked Yoongi to feature in a song, and Yoongi, ever the cheeky older brother, quipped, “You know how much I charge, right?” We all went, “Ooooh,” laughing along with them, the joy so tangible it felt like we were right there in the room.
That one where Namjoon’s voice softened as he teased Jimin, saying Hobi will always be his number one, and the rest of them could only ever be number two. That gentle camaraderie, the love they have for each other—it made our hearts ache in the best way.
But then… that one where the air grew heavier, as Namjoon’s voice cracked and with teary eyes he told us about the guilt they felt—a guilt so profound it almost broke them—because wanting to take a break felt like letting us down, like falling short of the sky-high expectations we placed on their shoulders.
They’ve always been honest with us, but that Festa dinner? It was something else. It was raw. It was them, stripped bare. It was a moment that felt like both an ending and a beginning.
Almost three years have passed since our Bangtan chose to pause their group activities to focus on themselves—their music, their growth, their dreams as individuals. And in those years, we’ve been gifted glimpses into their worlds. Solo albums, heartfelt lyrics, and music that revealed pieces of who they are outside of the group. Even when the time came for them to leave, one by one, for enlistment, they never stopped thinking about us. They made sure we felt cared for, loved. You never walk alone, right?
And now, here we are. It’s 2025—the year we’ve all been waiting for. The year our BULLETPROOF BOYS come back to us, OT7 once more. It’s a year of reunion, of celebration, of love that’s only grown stronger with time.
